Status Quo

The Lions lose three straight to the Niners, Cards, and Dolphins.  These teams could easily be considered in the bottom tier of the NFL (although the Niners and Dolphins are playing better).  The Lions have officially hit worse case scenario..again.  Where do we go from here?  Do we draft Brady Quinn or do we bolster the defense?  I am not sure if the coaches are even the problem.  We have plugged in so many coaches over the years that it seems like this whole franchise is a lost cause.  This team is such a mystery right now it boggles my mind.  Hopefully someone can figure it out.

Anything but Brady Quinn
I know some of it is the Michigan inside of me, but Brady Quinn is not that great of a QB.  He's played a lousy schedule and when facing his only tough opponents (USC and UM), he was exposed and Notre Dame was blown out.  Plus, Charlie Weis has put Quinn in a system where it's pass first run second, meaning his stats are much greater than usual.  Ugh, I can't even imagine drafting Quinn.  And I'm sure he feels the same way.  Could we see another Eli Manning possibly?

Eli Manning
Eli is an excellent comparison to Brady Quinn.  I am just concerned on where we go from here.  I feel that our secondary may need to be improved through the draft and free agency.
