Game #15 - Detroit Lions (2-12-0) vs Chicago Bears (12-2-0) - Open Thread

VS
The final game at Ford Field for 2006 is here, and it takes on a new twist. The Lions welcome the top NFC team that has clinched everything possible at this point. Although a game like this would attract fans to come and see, a walkout has been planned to rebel against management.

One of the only reasons I'll bother to watch this game, other than the fact that I need to in order to write up a recap, is to see if the walkout is successful. At the 8:57 mark in the second quarter, turn your TV on to FOX as they'll undoubtedly mention it.

Aside from the Lions, have a Merry Christmas tomorrow and here's to hoping the number one draft pick doesn't get screwed up. Oakland did lose again last night, so Detroit has to lose to keep pace.

More Bears fans at the game
The sideline reporter even said that Detroit practiced with crowd noise this week.

Almost the 8:57 mark.

Why???
I couldn't tell if anyone walked out, and FOX didn't even mention it!  Wow, I watched the whole first half for that?  At least it's a good game, although the offense has looked horrendous, as is usual.

I'm thinking Ford had something to do with it
A little extra $$$ to keep them from saying anything about it.  Although no one probably would've noticed it anyways.

Yeah, I'll go with that
And the stadium is 2/3 Bears fans anyway

Urlacher's an idiot
He runs into the tunnel with 0:01 left in the half, right after leveling Kitna.  But of course Kitna just takes a knee, instead of going for the score.  Lions didn't have a chance anyway, and now the bears will win by 30.

Don't win now
C'mon, I want to see the #1 pick.

That's the Lions we know and love
Another 4th quarter collapse and Jon Kitna turnover to add a 13th loss.
