Mock Draft input

scenerio 1: Trade down one spot with clevland for the 3rd pick, pick up Thomas there, gain MLB Andra Davis and thier 2nd rounder.

scenerio 2: go crazy...swap with ATL. Get CB Hall, eight pick, and a second maybe even a third rounder.Draft MLB Willis in the 1st, Neb DE Carriker in the 2nd along with OT Joe Staley. Extremely hypothetical but wouldn't that be nice?

Why not...
...trade with Cleveland THEN trade with Atlanta?  Might be a possibility if whoever they want is still on the board.  I wouldn't mind Johnson, he and Roy would make a killer combo but we need more than that.  Kitna is getting old and Orvlosky's probably not the arm of the future so even though most don't like it, Quinn is available.  A trade for Green would just give us another old guy.  We need someone who will be the man for a long time.  Again, second round pick will still be there for QB's.

A trade is the best case scenario in my opinion
It would be awesome if Millen could pull off a deal to swap picks with Cleveland just like he did when we got Roy and then later Kevin Jones.  Like you said, maybe we could swing something with Atlanta as well.  Drop down to #8, take a great player and have an abundance of 2nd and 3rd round picks to possibly trade back into the 1st round.  The possibilities really are endless.

Gaines Adams is the guy
Maybe I am bias because I live near Clemson (but not really a clemson fan ) But I have seen this guy often ,
This guy is an ANIMAL, with lots of up side and charater

With recent upgrades on the O side of the ball, the D still needs more impact guys. Other than QB the O side of the ball seems to be more solid than its been in a long time. Other teams have went far with an average QB . Its time to build the D now

Not only that...
But when it comes to having an eye for quality defensive linemen, I have total faith in Marinelli.
