Jon Kitna Won't Play Today; Henson Signed From Practice Squad
Jon Kitna has been ruled out of today's game, meaning Dan Orlovsky will likely start for the Lions. Kitna didn't practice at all this week, so this comes as no surprise. Drew Stanton will be Orlovsky's backup, and Drew Henson was signed from the practice squad to be the team's 3rd-string quarterback. To make room on the roster for Henson, the Lions released fullback Moran Norris, who was just signed earlier this week.

Kitna wont play today
It’s not that i want Jon Kitna to be hurt but,I really hope that he will just step aside and let one of the other two start and play! Jon does’nt seem to want to play and the team does’nt seem to get behind him or rally around him! Yesterday was a compleatly differant team under the leadership of Orlofski! I really just don’t believe that Jon believes in this team or the coaches or the system! And i believe he’s wrong if thats what he believes! It works for other teams and in time it will work for us. Baltimore won a superbowl with basicly this offence and tampa won the superbowl with this defence! Anyways go lions!
