From the Lions:

The Detroit Lions announced today that they have placed S Gerald Alexander on the Reserve/Injured list and re-signed FB Moran Norris. No terms of Norris’ contract were disclosed.

Alexander (6-0, 204) suffered a neck injury in the final minutes of Sunday’s game at Minnesota. Evaluation of Alexander’s condition and treatment options are ongoing and additional information regarding his injury will be made at the appropriate time.

Norris was just signed last week before he was released prior to Sunday's game to make room on the active roster for Drew Henson.
