From what I remember, you won’t be able to give us play by play this week due to the blackout.

If you’re local, maybe the 97.1FM feed will match up OK

This one works

Only bad thing is no audio. Better than nothing, though.

Running Back?

Anyone know who’s starting for the Lions today?

21-0 start again?

Our defense is gay. No offense to homosexuals.

by MoTown Lions on Oct 26, 2008 1:06 PM EDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

clinton portis...

is going to have a career day today. man, its hard to say what the lions need to work on more, defense of offense.

by lions_sucker on Oct 26, 2008 1:07 PM EDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

wow...

i think the only way the lions look good is if their opponent totally blows a play.

by lions_sucker on Oct 26, 2008 1:09 PM EDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

What are the chances...

We hold them to a field goal here.

by MoTown Lions on Oct 26, 2008 1:09 PM EDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

pretty good...

if they keep playing like the last 2 downs, but doubtful as they will probably blow coverage in the corner of the endzone.

or..

if they beat themselves

if things keep going like this...

put in stanton so he can get a couple of reps without having the stress of winning the game, since it will already be long out of reach thanks to the “Starters”.

by lions_sucker on Oct 26, 2008 1:23 PM EDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

...and the bandwagon has arrived

PUT STANTON IN THE GAME!!!

How’s it going folks?

I never thought...

that the lions first points of the season in the first quarter would be against the redskins.

by lions_sucker on Oct 26, 2008 1:35 PM EDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Here's a recap of what happened:

Alama-Francis hit Campbell to cause the fumble

Orlovsky throws an incomplete pass intended for McDonald
Rudi runs for 2 yards
Furrey drops (I think) a pass on 3rd and 8, but an illegal contact penalty keeps the drive alive
Orlovsky hits Calvin Johnson for a gain of 31
Rudi runs 11 yards for a touchdown

typical...

that once the lions start looking like an actual nfl team(now I just jinxed them/us) the game would be blacked out and you’re internet would die.

why is cliff avril starting in place of him. He’s doing a great job, but still, white’s been one of the strong points this year.

You would think that every once in a blue moon we would accidentally have a decent gain on a kick or punt return.
