Detroits QB Issues - TD's / INT
I came across and interesting stat when trying to figure out when the last time we had a QB that did a decent job was. In the current decade, 00-08, Detroit has had only 1 season with a QB that threw more TD's than Interceptions. Here are the numbers :
YR - QB - TD / INT
07 - Kitna - 18 / 20
06 - Kitna - 21 / 22
05 - Joey - 12 / 12
04 - Joey - 19 / 12
03 - Joey - 17 / 22
02 - Joey - 12 / 16
01 - Batch - 12 / 12
00 - Batch - 13 / 15
Another interesting sidenote. The last person before Joey in 04 to have more TD than INT in a season for the lions was Gus Frerotte in '99, who will be starting for the Vikings against the Lions on sunday.

Wow
That’s both interesting and sad at the same time. I like the tidbit about Frerotte. I guess he will be yet another former Lion that gets to have a big game against them.
