Around SBN: Jerry Sandusky's Wife Tries To Run A Reporter Over

Wish Lions would vanish? Stay tuned - Detroit's at risk of losing a pro team.

I just read THIS ARTICLE in the Detroit Free Press. Should the NFL lift blackout restrictions for the Lions? What about the Ford's selling the team for much needed capital then the new owners pack up and leave Detroit? Interesting question. I'd be all for the Ford's selling the team. God knows they sure don't know how to run it. I'd just hate to see them end up elsewhere. i couldn't root for the "Los Angeles Lions".

I agree...

I would hate to see my city lose a team, especially since they have been there for 75 years. I think it is relative folly to think that they would move the team though.
I live in LA (for the last 6 years and the foreseeable future) but I would hate for the Lions to come out here. Los Angeles has the worst fans imaginable (except for the Kings fans, they’re cool) this is the most fair weather city possible and I’m sure the new owners would end up moving them somewhere else just like the Rams and Raiders.

lol

first of all were not getting moved any where…we were stayin right here in detroit it only takes one season to get things turned around…plus the fans here bout as good as you can get what other teams sell out with a horrible record….

not gonna happen...

for one, the fords WILL NOT sell this football team. It wouldn’t make sense, unlike their auto company, they DO turn a profit off of this business venture. Also, even in the unlikelihood that they do sell, like Zeke said, we are about the best fans you can get (except for it doesn’t show on tv, since they suck and we don’t have much to root for) because we ehave stuck behind them for the past 10 years of suck, and even the past 50 years of mediocrity. The lions will stay in detroit as long as theres an nfl.
