Oh well

Let’s go Collins, LenDale White, and Justin Gage… all starters on my fantasy team.

I'd say

2 plays for Lions = fumble
2 plays for Titans = TD

Gain of 26 on the play

Great route by McDonald. He was wide open.

Who are the backups?

For culpepper? If I recall the Lions qb situation is not pretty.

by dodgers_suck on Nov 27, 2008 12:52 PM EST reply actions

If Culpepper goes down

Drew Henson will take over. If he goes down, I believe it would be Shaun McDonald.

It reminds me of the 6 touchdown game Manning had four years ago

Completely owned my fantasy team. I wish LenDale White was getting some carries right now.

i mean, you watch the Lions D, and feel like you could go for a hundred yards on these guys

Joe Barry is a joke of a defensive coordinator.

Damn

The Lions are obviously cannot play catch-up. Have they tried a bomb to calvin with culpepper yet?

by dodgers_suck on Nov 27, 2008 1:00 PM EST reply actions

Why

Do the lions players look so slow? They look like madden players running without holding turbo

by dodgers_suck on Nov 27, 2008 1:02 PM EST reply actions

Punt is returned nowhere

Titans will take over at the 22 or so yard line.

by ahtrap on Nov 27, 2008 1:15 PM EST up reply actions

naturally, I’m playing against chris johnson in a must win situation….I was 5-0 in that league, I’m about to get knocked out of the playoffs with a 6-7 record. I blame Brian Westbrook….and to think I was offered a Westbrook for Adrian Peterson trade straight up earlier in the season…

by ahtrap on Nov 27, 2008 1:14 PM EST reply actions

just in that one league, though….

by ahtrap on Nov 27, 2008 1:14 PM EST up reply actions

That sucks

I gotta win in the POD league to have a chance to make the playoffs and the Titans aren’t doing shit for me right now since it’s all Chris Johnson.

Definitely

It’s been a while, though. Most of the recent games have been close for a bit, except for the Jags game IIRC.

by ahtrap on Nov 27, 2008 1:17 PM EST reply actions

I know it

Every SportsCenter in the last day has talked about that. Thankfully all of the anchors have said to keep it the way it is, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we do get it taken away after this performance.

According to Wikipedia

“At the middle or high school level, 34 states use a mercy rule that may involve a "continuous clock” – that is, the clock continues to operate on most plays when the clock would normally stop, such as an incomplete pass – once a team has a certain lead (e.g., 35 points) during the second half."

If the lions were a high school team (which they are playing like) they would fit the criteria for it to be enforced haha.

Up in Ft Wayne for the holiday.

First time all season getting to watch the Lions on a real tv. Not missing anything. I knew they were bad, but today they really look pathetic. Nice fumble recovery, though.

"It's probably similar to being in New York City and having a cab driver behind you and you're driving too slow. It's not the most pleasant thing."
