I'm drinking beer

and I will probably needs lot’s of it for this game.

My God, 0-16. I can’t really come up with the appropriate words to describe it. I sincerely hope they beat the Packers today (of course, I always hope the beat the Packers) and would really like to see a road win in GB.

If I can only wish for one thing for Christmas, a win today is it. I do not want the Lions to be the worst team of all time in the NFL. There are plenty of other teams 1-15. I could take that. JUST WIN, BABY!

The weather in Buffalo is nuts

http://blogs.nfl.com/2008/12/28/epic-conditions-at-ralph-wilson-stadium/

This is really screwing with my championship game for fantasy football. I have 4 running backs in that game but don’t know if I should start 1 or 2 or 3 of them. They won’t be able to pass it, but how effective will they be running it?

That's my problem. In the big game

but worried K Smith could dress and not end up playing a lot. I think Smith could eat GB alive today if he plays the whole game.

You have to have a fair catch in a decent spot on the field. Not positive, but it may also have to happen within a certain part of the half.

Definitely will write a story about this in the next couple days...

But Parcells apparently can opt out of his Dolphins contract, and although this is a pipe dream:

Among the teams sources say are on Parcells’ radar are the New York Jets, Detroit Lions, Cleveland Browns and the Oakland Raiders. However, if Parcells’ son-in-law, New England Patriots vice president Scott Pioli, is interested in any of those jobs, Parcells is unlikely to wind up with that team, Mortensen reported.

I can’t even imagine Parcells. That would be amazing.

Tampa lost to Oakland...

Didn’t they play for a playoff spot? Maybe they want Rod back as a motivator…

Well, the season is officially 'totally fucked'

now we wait and see what that dumbass, Ford Sr, does to fuck it up even further. I’ll be checking back in here for a while. We’ll see what Ford does. That could determine whether I just stop watching football until he finally dies or not.

Hats off to Sean Y.

Sean—Better Days Ahead!!!! Thanks for the excellent Game Threads, I enjoyed all the comments/analysis and comic relief from all the participants. Thanks again!

p.s.—I think we will all feel better on Monday when WCF fires the whole lot of them and replaces them with trained chimps, it will certainly be an upgrade.

Good job this season, Sean. Tough to do under the circumstances.

Well at least the Cowboys aren't going to make the playoffs

Eagles lead 27-3 at the half. Dallas looks awful.

Nice play there, though

Witten to Owens.

I hate Dallas, though. Hope they lose big.
