Should the Lions try a new logo, or revamped uniforms?

Hey guys, I am a Rays and Bucs fan here with a simple question: Do you think that maybe the Lions should change their helmet logo and revamp the uniforms? I know it helped the Bucs, believe it or not. New uniforms also helped the Rays. New uniforms have helped in the past for other teams like the Jets, granted it's an old school logo, and Cardinals made a change in their uniform. Before you call me out on it, I do realize there have been some slight alterations to the uniform, making the uniform more "royal" blue. Furthermore, I DO realize the history behind the logo and uniforms, but maybe its time for a change. Best of luck next year.

NO!

The Lions have a great well recognized helmet. They have terrific colors as well. The black in blue uniforms in my mind are the best. I wish they would stop playing in those drab throw backs. I know the league is just trying to make more money but come on.

If they jazzed the uniform up a bit like the broncos did with the side stripes or something that might be good. But the helmet should stay. They have the different colored face masks and the blue and silver. well its the LIONS!!!!

i agree!!

yeah maybe add a little more black to the uniforms but the logo has to stay the same. I would say keep the colors and logo make them a little less old school by adding a stripe down the side of the jersey or something like the broncos have.

Video gaming

I usually create 4 new uniforms, but my faves are (1) Solid black, with white numbers/letters, trimmed in H blue. Blue belt and socks stripe. Black cleats/helmets. (2) Solid silver ROAD UNI’S with H blue numbers/letters, trimmed in black, Blue “Broncos stripes” also, LMAO.

My thoughts........

Good point and a good post. Thanks!

Keep the Lion on the helmet – that cannot go away. GETTING RID of the black uniforms was a great decision, I want to see Honolulu Blue and Silver. LOVE the throwback uniforms as well. Wish they wore them more often. I also liked the silver numbers with silver outlining, like the teams of the 80’s.

Honolulu blue...you said it.

I love the uniforms and I definetly think they are a symbol of Lions football…not that right now that seems to mean much but I’m predicting in a few years black and honolulu blue are going so send shivers down the spines of NFL fans everywhere.
