I wonder if Stanton is really hurt or if they're just keeping him inactive
so Culpepper can start and there won’t be calls for Stanton to take over during the game.

I think they don't want Stanton to get hurt
If he got in and took one hit, he could go down for good. I look at Michigan running back Sam McGuffie. He probably came back too quickly after his concussions and ended up with three this season.

as far as recievers go today, CJ’s going to be triple teamed today. I mean standeford is our number 2 guy.
fluellen
I wish he wasn’t hurt, I was hoping to see him start the rest of the season along with avril to see their potential. From what I’ve seen I think Avril could be a starter, especially with a dominating end on the other side.

why is it...
that we have played our best football against the nfc norths number 1 team. Does that say alot for this division or what.
id be pissed...
if I was a team like the eagles, redskins or cowboys and saw a team like the vikings or bears making it to the playoffs.
Who is Ryan Nece?
I’ve been seeing him the past couple weeks but I don’t remember him being on the team early on
free agent..
we picked up in like week one or two because dizons either a bust or our coaching staff doesn’t think he has the right personality to play football.
So Culpepper threw a bomb into the end zone and it was intercepted

Tebow won't be a first-round pick because of the things you said
He is not an NFL QB.
Check out Pride of Detroit, SB Nation's Lions Blog
Just impressed by the game yesterday….i know all the reasons for why he isn’t supposed to be NFL quality….but count me as among those wondering why he wouldn’t rate a shot, anyway….
not as a 1st pick overall, that was silly hyperbole on my part….
Well, the problem with Tebow is that he’s going to impress the hell out of everybody with his interviews, and he’s going to test out extremely well also. I think somebody is going to take a chance on him earlier than he should actually be drafted, so even if he’s not a first round prospect I could see him sliding into the late first on draft day. He’s a great kid, but I just don’t see him being a good NFL quarterback.
The problem is somebody is going to buy into the hype and I sure as hell hope it isn’t the Lions.
