Lions to Play Packers in Home Opener

The entire 2008 schedule won't be out for another five or so minutes, but the Lions have announced that they will open the season at home in Week 2 against the Packers.  That means the first game of the season will be on the road, and I'm hoping it's against San Francisco as that's what I predicted earlier today.

I like playing Green Bay earlier in the season as Aaron Rodgers won't have a ton of experience under his belt yet.  I would rather go on the road to Lambeau Field in September, but just as usual, it's looking like that game will be in the later part of the year.
