Two years ago yesterday, Pride of Detroit was launched into the blogosphere.  It's hard for me to believe that I've been doing this for two years already, but I guess time flies when you're having fun, right?  It's amazing how much has changed with this site since it first launched, but it's all for the better as you found out over draft weekend.  The new features that SB Nation 2.0 has will make everyone's time on POD much more enjoyable, and I can't wait to see how everything works once the season starts.

Anyways, I just want to thank everyone that has been a reader over these last couple of years, and here's to a winning season for a change.  It's never easy to talk about a losing team, and unfortunately that's what I've had to do with the Lions.  There was that 6-2 start last season, but that was just a big tease.  Maybe 2008 will be Detroit's year.  All we can do is hope.
