Lions safety Kalvin Pearson has bonded out of jail in Tampa, where the state's attorney now will investigate charges that he beat and strangled a pregnant woman.
In what's known as a "first-appearance hearing" in Hillsborough Circuit Court on Sunday, Pearson's bond was set at $50,000, 10 percent in cash.
