Jordon Dizon Finally Signs With Lions
Lions second-round pick Jordon Dizon has signed with Detroit, meaning he can finally get to practice.
"It's done, it's signed,'' Schaffer said.
The deal is believed to be for four years and Dizon is expected to be at the Lions' afternoon practice later today. Dizon missed the first three practices of training camp while details of his contract were ironed out.
I'm glad Dizon didn't miss more than three practices, but he still will be a tad behind the rest of the players. Either way, the important thing is that he has a contract and now this can all be put in the past. The focus now for everyone turns strictly to football. (Well, maybe once Takeo Spikes decides on whether or not he will sign with the Lions)

Woo Woo!
Are you ready for some football?! They’re not looking too bad. Spikes would be a welcome addition. I’d be happy with 8-8 this year or better. They need to at least play .500 ball.
I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it. ~Voltaire
