I’m excited to see Kevin Smith play for an extended period of time with the first team. We really need to see more from the running game today if we’re going to keep having these lofty expectations of 9 or 10 wins.

Amazing catch by Roy!

Kitna avoided being sacked again, scrambled outside and hit Roy as he was running downfield. Roy had to come back to the ball and barely made the catch.

I figured we would have heard his name by now. There was talk earlier this week that he was close to passing Ellis for the 5th WR spot. I would take Standeford over both right now, but Ellis has return skills.

It’ll be more interesting to see if the Lions even take 5 receivers.

Great game guys. I was really impressed with the defensive rush and intensity for the third week in a row. Kitna looks 3 years younger and seems extremely focused for this season. The passing game has looked almost too easy, and we saw a few big runs today for the first time this year. We suffered no injuries, which sometimes is just as important as winning or losing. Being 3-0 is building a positive, winning mentality that is critical to building momentum for the season opener and beyond. There isn’t much we can complain about right now, Lions fan.
