We Looked Pretty Good!

Before I get into the bad parts of the game CALVIN JOHNSON is a beast ! He really looked like a man amongst boys. Roy did look a little slow on that 20 yard run after the catch but 6 none the least. Kitna looked sharp best QB in the north by far. My defense looked okay baring the Brandon Jacobs scamper and the Moss catch we really looked focused. I like that Joe guy, Buster Davis played really well, Paris Lenon has no thump at all behind his hits Jesus Christ he's soft, Dizon is a winner like him alot now could we please release Lehman forever now. We really need to rap when we tackle I understand we want to make the big hit but if that was Gates or Shockey instead of Kevin Boss that could've been a a bigger gain. RAP UP LIONS! Tatum Bell has to go. He ran like he just wanted to get back to the line of scrimmage. I really don't know why we signed him back thats 1 of the things Martz was right about. Kevin Smith love him he did'nt break any big runs or anything but he does'nt tip toe like KJ or Bell. He hits the whole with authority got 2 1st downs. Are fisrt round pick reminds me of Foster we might as well keep his a$$ out there all those false starts and that holding penalty. Cherilous might be a bust I hope he has heart cause he might have lost all his confidence last night. We must get rid of Paris, Edwards, Alama-Francis, Lewis, Bell, a couple of those recievers we only need 1 more, and Hicks. Lets let go of the dead weight we should only be loyal to winning and we havent been so let the loosers GO!

of course we looked pretty good.

Since Rod M took over this team, I have seen consistent improvement in all facets of the team. It is pretty obvious that Rod has his imprint all over the team. The departure of shaun rogers, kalimba edwards, mike williams, damien woody, barry stokes, kelly bulter were all long over due. Personally, the addition of CJ to this team was the best decision that Millen had made in a long time; evident in his performance.
The defense looked stellar yesterday. Leon Joe is really something special. Clearly, Teddy Lehman is not surviving preseason. The Offensive LIne still needs major work. Our inability to run the ball was a major sore point for me. if we can’t run we can’t win period. At least we saw the effect the running the ball had with drew stanton’s bootleg. credit artose pinner for its success. kevin Smith is a stud. Jerome Fulton reminds me of THE BUS. Tatum bell is over. Brain Calhoun: done. Can’t wait to see our game against the cleveland browns. That would be the litmus test.
