"I said at the beginning of the season, come on out and I think you'll like what you see. And I think the people who came out, they like what they see because they see discipline. They see the approach is right, they're practicing right. All the little things. Everybody has a different saying. Rod says pound the rock. (Joe) Paterno said take care of the little things, the big things will take care of itself. Al Davis said block, tackle and be right, baby. The successful ones all say the same thing, they say it differently. We're doing it the right way, that's why I know it'll work."
Birk's Eye View: Millen: "We're doing it the right way, that's why I know it'll work."
Matt Millen spoke to the media today and made a complete fool of himself. It pained me to read some of his comments. It literally hurt knowing that this man is running my favorite team.
I'll have a full post later today on all the ridiculous things he said.

Geez....
Matt Millen is a f#$king moron. Come on WCF, fire his ass. If Millen had any balls, he’d resign. Loser.
After I hit a home run I had a habit of running the bases with my head down. I figured the pitcher already felt bad enough without me showing him up rounding the bases. ~Mickey Mantle
The problem is...
He’s still taking advice on how to run the team from Al Davis. There’s your problem right there.
Also, what little things have they taken care of well. They don’t block well, they don’t tackle well, and they drop passes.
There’s a difference between confidence and idiocracy, and he (along with Jon Kitna) passed that line a long, long time ago.

Let’s play the pyramid.

Who are Three Guys Who Need to Hang it Up Already?
did you say....
“It literally hurt knowing that this man is running my favorite team.”
or
“It literally hurt knowing that this man is ruining my favorite team.”
Lost my glasses sarcasm :-/
Haha
Same difference. Anything Millen runs he ruins.
