I Give!

This is it, I have had enough, 34-21 vs. Atlanta.  Detroit has an extremely difficult schedule down the stretch, if they don't go 8-8 i'm converting to a Browns fan.  Millen and Marinelli should both hit the highway.  I'm from Toledo, Ohio and a lifelong Lions fan, but if the organization doesn't start giving a damn, neither will I.  The Browns have one thing the Lions don't have...   Hope.

Train Wreck

Things are pretty tough in upstate New York for a transplanted Lions fan. I drove to a local “Establishment” to catch the game on TV sporting a brand new Lions hat. They divide this place up with a different game on each TV with its own section. The Lions/Falcons game was being broadcast in the broom closet—(Should have been my first clue that it was not going to be a “Banner Day”.) The new Lion’s Hat brought more than a few “Lion’s Suck” comments, but I was feeling confident that the beloved Lion’s could redeem themselves over the Lowly Falcons. Geez-I hadn’t even gotten the fist pitcher of refreshments before they were down (0-7)—(0-14)—(0-21) , could it be I drank the Kool-aid again? Not to worry though, there was plenty of time! Once again a critical miscalculation. I will venture back to the same “Establishment” next week, even though I have been told that the Lions game will be shown in the Ladies room on a 5" black and white Zenith. Dear Lord make it STOP!!!!!!!!!! Go Lions!

Are you kidding me!!!

I’ve been a fan since Billy Sims was the RB, and they had Eric Hipple as QB, but I’ve about had it! What the hell is going on with this team. Everyone had the Lions to win, how can they be out scored 21 to 0 in the first quarter. How the hell does a team get 130 yards rushing in the first quarter against our defence? I’m a die hard fan and always positive, but they need to make a statement with the next game against Green bay or I don’t know. WHAT the HELL is going on in there heads!!!!!! JUST Frustrated…….. I know everyone says fire you know who, but honestly what does that have to do with todays performance or lack of. I’ll tell you what if they don’t do well this year Roy Williams will leave, I would….

The Kool-Aid

Not only did I drink…I tried convincing others to sip some too. I should have listened to my brain and not my heart. I’ll continue to root…but I really don’t know why. If the score (I wasn’t unfortunate enough to have watched the game) is any indication of how this team will play this year I predict 3-13 for like what the 4th time in the last 8 years.

Millen

That dude can kiss my ass, I’m fed up with this BS. Once again, all my Lions garb goes back into the closet for another year.

i'll give it one more week...

before i lose all hope. i think the lions expected to be feared by the falcons after a solid preseason, not the brightest idea, and came out flat. real flat. we go back to the underdog role next week and i think the team will be mentally prepared. if we still get burned, then hope is gone.

here we go again

1st of all although Kitna has heart what i saw sunday was in him was no leadership. when a gameplan falls apart you adapt take control of the offence. after the first half the play calling was suspect. absolutley no defence, offencive line subpar. He’s bitchin at the OC then throws an int. botttom line their killin me just killin me. and what about 8min to go, down 2 scores and no hurry up drills. I know what the red sox fans have had to go through. I’ll always be a lions fan get but get rid of Millen 8 yrs is enough.

i agree

this team is amazing. they make a rookie look like the next mvp qb. a career backup rb look like a pro bowler. the falcons picked apart every facet of the lions. kitna was terrible despite his stats. i feel bad for good players like our receivers and ernie sims for having to play for this piss poor organization. we will be lucky is we win 4 games this year.

nobody's willing to give them one more week?

before figuring out who we’re taking with our first round pick.

I guess

But we’ve been giving them one more year for decades. How does management not get tired of this shit? We’re the laughing stock of the NFL…….I’m tired of saying next year, of giving them one more game. They need to clean out the front office and get someone who’s competent enough to build a franchise the way it’s suppose to be built.

It’s almost like Millen enjoys being a massive failure.

CORRECTION

the lions are the laughing stock of all sports. lets hope these games get blacked out and old sr asks for a little help from anyone who has a clue about building a team….and an organization for that matter.

we will probably trade the first pick......

for another washed up tampa bay defensive player. or for an assitant coach, ball boy, or something awesome like that because they are “hard workers”.

Let’s get Tebow next year! We’ll should be in position to do it…

Eat 'em up!

So he can get sacked and throw pick after pick?

Let’s get our O line in order. Then our D line. Then our LB’s and DE’s.

Then we can get a shiny new QB.
