Tom Lewand is a moron

During Tuesday's press conference, new Lions president Tom Lewand remarked how the Falcons' only high-priced acquisition in 2008 was "Michael Bennett" and commented on how the Steelers allowed "Greg Lloyd" to sign with Miami.
And we thought 0-16 was embarrassing. Lloyd is supposed to be Joey Porter in Lewand's mind and "Michael Bennett," of course, is Michael Turner. Good of owner William Clay Ford, Jr. to do his due diligence before promoting Lewand to team president. He'd better stay the heck out of personnel matters.

Having the potential of being $40 million below cap and having 5 draft picks in the first 82 picks… AND using that for bait to draw good coaching talent is far from something a moron could accomplish.
