The Lions are expected to bring in Chargers defensive coordinator Ron Rivera on Tuesday for an interview for their head-coaching job.
Now that the Chargers’ season is over, Rivera is free to interview for head-coaching jobs. The Lions already have reached out to him.
I guess the Lions aren't down to two candidates just yet.

Yeah, Glazer’s report seemed really premature. With the Browns hiring Mangini, the Broncos hiring McDaniels, the Jets rumored to be hot for Rex Ryan, and the Raiders looking at a slew of totally unqualified candidates, none of the Lions’ top candiates are going anywhere any time soon.—they can afford to cast their net a little wider this week.
That said, Schwartz has to be considered the leader in the clubhouse at this point.
