Tuesday Notes: Lions to Bring in Frazier, Bowles for Second Interviews?

  • Adam Schefter reports that Vikings defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier and Dolphins assistant/secondary coach Todd Bowles are expected to be interviewed by the Lions for a second time.  Schefter also reported that Chargers defensive coordinator Ron Rivera is expected to interview with the Lions today.
  • Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo hasn't been asked for another interview with the Lions yet and Nicholas Cotsonika reports that he is a longshot for the job.  The Newark Star-Ledger's Mike Garafolo, however, doesn't think we should count the Lions out with regards to Spagnuolo just yet.  Adam Schefter also reported that the Lions still want to talk with Spagnuolo again.  (HT: Highlight Reel)
  • Dave Birkett spoke with James Harris about potentially joining the Lions' front office.
  • Oklahoma defensive lineman Gerald McCoy is not going to enter the NFL Draft.
  • Colts coach Tony Dungy retired on Monday.  Check out Stampede Blue for full coverage of Dungy's retirement announcement.
