Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

Lastly for tonight, Lewand hinted that changes to the uniform and leaping Lion logo will be coming, though maybe not until the 2010 season. Uniform changes for this year had to be submitted last November. "Stay tuned," Lewand said. He also intimated the Lions could one day return to hosting training camp at a remote location like Saginaw Valley State.

I would be against changing things too drastically. I like the logo, though I wouldn't mind if the uniforms reverted back to a classic look.

Man I need coffee. Posted this first under the wrong article....

There’s also a contest at The Detroit News to design a new logo for the Lions. I don’t agree with this at all. Just get rid of the black uniforms and definitely keep the Honolulu Blue and Silver as well as the leaping lion.

changing the logo is a horrible idea

I love our uniforms.

The team’s executives should be concentrating on more pressing matters…. like winning, for instance. But I’m just a stupid, stupid fan. What do I know?
