From the Detroit Free Press:

The Lions will hire James (Shack) Harris as a personnel executive.

Harris was most recently the vice president of player personnel for Jacksonville. He worked for Baltimore before that. New Lions coach Jim Schwartz also once worked for the Ravens.

Harris was always mentioned as one of the top candidates for the job, along with Phil Savage and a couple others.
