King was hurt in the second quarter of Sunday’ loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
<!-- article-left_skinny -->The Lions (1-4) and their depleted secondary will be tested at the Green Bay Packers (2-2) on Sunday.

Poor King
He was decent in his first few games. Poor fella.
2009 = The start of the Lions Golden Age (We hope).
Poor fella?
reminds me of finding nemo for some reason. King was a great depth player and it’s a shame he’s done for the year. ’
On another note, the Lions had Levi Jones (LT) in for a visit. Can anyone see the trend? Baccus will be replaced in the near future…thank god. Someone should start a fan post.
Yes, I see the trend!
Schwartz/Mayhew bring people in for a reason. Even if we don’t sign a particular player, the positions of the guys we bring in are positions we are looking to upgrade…..and in many cases, we’ve signed guys at those positions after giving a bunch of guys a look. The mass tryout the week before the Bears game featured lots of D-Linemen, secondary guys, some WR, and special teams coverage guys who can tackle (obvious areas of weakness)…..some of which we’ve since signed. Those and some other areas of weakness (KR) have also been filled since the end of the preseason.
What? He can’t block a dead gopher? Humph, details.
did you see levy & delmas out there on special teams coverage w/ follett?
awesome…put your playmakers out there…put the kids out there who are working hard
