Killer is going insane?
You have to laugh.... Tom is having a hell of a time with the mind games being thrown from Schwartz and Stafford. Now he's not even sure Stafford practiced, but just showed up for the media portion(which is a genius move by Schwartz) .... Good stuff. Here's the LINK
Maybe Stafford did practice in the 11-on-11 drills on Wednesday and this is just an off-the-wall conspiracy theory. Maybe.
I love the secrecy, diversions, and last minute reports.

Which leads me to a question for Sean...
What kind of press ‘authority’ do you have? If you don’t mind discussing.

I have been turned down for a credential to training camp
But I wouldn’t even have the time to cover them like that during the season.

You have plenty of 'reporters'
available…lol.
FYI, you can email me anytime you want me to report a game.
as an example….
If you have ever listened to Tim and Pat on Sirius… they meet up with a bunch of truckers and such during the combine and give each of them a position to scout…. fun to listen to and very educational.

Killers a dick
if this is true, he needs to shut the hell up. Is he not a fan of this team? Does he want to expose all our secrets? What if he’s right? Wouldn’t it be better to have the impression that staffords going to play to have the pack prepare for him instead of pep?

Killer's job is to report and share his opinion on the team
His job is to be a journalist not a fan. It’s not like he came out with a story saying, “The Lions pulled a fast one on us; that is a fact.” He’s just speculating, and it’s not like this would be surprising. Generally with injuries like this teams prepare for the injured player but also prepare for his backup. I like the secretiveness, but it is just to throw a curveball.

I enjoy his blog.
He’s usually the first to report something.

Killer is OK in my book
I don’t mind his reporting and he was the first reporter that I could remember that said the Lions pass defense was going to be troublesome in prior to the 2008 season. He seems to know the Lions well. He’s pretty straightforward as well, which most people like.

I like Killer's insights too but.....
He is making a huge deal out of Schwartz’s lack of openess. Coaches and sports teams generally always try and control the information flow. Journalists have the duty to find out and report everything about the team, regardless whether it is good or bad.
These goals are conflicting and are more often than not sources of friction between these groups. Since these groups actually need each other, to some extent, they will generally work out these differences over time.

All the winning organizations...
…run their teams like this. Does anyone remember Andy Reid freaking out about their MLB going down for the season and somebody told the media before him? It is nice to see the Lions running things like other successful organizations do.

Killer is a fan, in my opinion
He has always been the optimist, while other Lions beat writers have been negative. Killer also will respond to fans questions and comments. Even the ones that have slammed him.

Agreed there
BVO is one of the worst “journalists” ever. He wrote a story yesterday based on a post on Stafford’s supposed Twitter page, which I’m pretty sure is fake.
