Bears get DE help

So the Bears mortgaged more of their future for today by giving up a second round pick in 2010 for decent-but-underacheiving DE Gaines Adams. Between this move and the picks given up for Cutler (1st and 3rd in 2009, 1st in 2010, Kyle Orton), Chicago has made a strong statement that they want to win today and are willing to risk tomorrow to do it. Next year, they start in the 3rd round.

Would you have made that trade? Adams for a 2010 second rounder? Adams has not lived up to his top 5 pick hype, but about 6 sacks a year would make us all pretty happy about now.  But on the other hand, we are not in the same place the Bears are and I think our future is more important than today.
