Guess who is ALSO BACK!
Calvin Johnsonnn!!!!! (spoiler alert) FUCK, i can never get those right. Anyways, Free Press is reporting that Calvin Johnson has returned to practice today, and fully participated. (http://www.freep.com/article/20091029/SPORTS01/91029031/1049/SPORTS01/Lions-WR-Johnson-practices-today) This is another offensive starter we all wanted to see return especially before a win-able game
Fullback Terrelle Smith also returned to practice today, but linebacker Zack Follett did not participate in the period open to reporters. Both missed practice Wednesday because of illnesses.
No news on Felton, or HIll, whom i believe did NOT participate in practice on Wednesday.
feel free to update as the reports come in.

Absolutely!
I just added 10 points to my Lions prediction in the other thread.
What? He can’t block a dead gopher? Humph, details.

Thanks
Thanks for the update!! I would really like to see both Stafford and Calvin on the field this Sunday – even if they are a bit rusty. I am so very in need of another win and ready to see this team continue to progress forward (I have not felt that in the last 2 weeks).

I could have sworn....
That I read SOMEWHERE that CJ practiced on a limited basis Wednesday, but he only ran on the sideline during the media portion of practice. I was told by Sean that he definitely did not practice at all…..but it doesn’t matter now! Megatron will play and that is a very good thing for us this week! Now I hope that Felton also practived today and that he will be ready to go on Sunday. I don’t think there would be a huge fall off between Felton and T Smtih, but I think Felton is a superior option out of the backfield on passing downs.
I’m also wondering if White is going to play, and I still have hope that Hill will be ready too. It would be a plus to have Hill back, if nothing more than for his continued development and his size. Has anyone heard any news about McBride? I though he played pretty well in White’s absence too.

I think you're referring to this detnews article
He did some running and catching on the sidelines on Tuesday, but I guess that doesn’t count as practicing.

Awesome.....thank you LL!
That will help. Even if White plays he will most likely need more rest than usual, and I think McBride is a pretty decent player. I was impressed with Hunter too….hopefully he can come back into the rotation soon.

We might actual HAVE a rotation this week...
on the d-line and it shouldn’t include offensive guards!

For the record...
…Killer thinks he’s 60-40 or 70-30 to play on Sunday. Let’s not count our chickens yet.

Awesome news!
While it’s not a given that he’ll play, the fact that he practiced means he’s close anyway, no long layoffs. With CJ on the field, my hopes rise quite a lot.
