That's one big list of injuries

Hopefully most of those players can suit up

lol

Where have you been?

Yea

I’m pretty sure he got hurt early during the Redskins’, if I’m not mistaken.

When is White not hurt?

They need to find a replacement for him next year. He’s a solid back-up, but not a reliable starter.

Ouch

I’m not liking that list of Lions defensive injuries

by JazzyBBP on Oct 3, 2009 12:41 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

We're in deep shi* if none of the questionable guys play

It will be bad enough without White and Hill…..I guess all we can do is hope that Avril and Fluellen can get it done, and that Darby can play at least as well as Hill has.

by KDawg on Oct 3, 2009 2:41 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

wow

so basically our whole Dline is hurting… Wish we had some more depth there but we took Pettigrew instead.

by I3usdriver on Oct 3, 2009 3:55 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Well Pettigrew is here now, not much that can be done about it at this point is there.

As much as all of us wanted D help

Grew was the right pick. And when he starts to go to pro-bowls you will remmber that we have not had a legit TE in decades. Grew was an insurance policy for a O-line that has needed help and a rookie QB and now we have a guy that can take pressure off of Megatron on the outside as well. With all the holes that our Lions had/have I still think that our front office did the right thing they took the best avalible player on the board at the time we drafted. And please don’t argue the Delmas pick over one of 2 LB’s our secondary was in more need of young talent than our lb’s at that point in the draft.

by davis0169 on Oct 3, 2009 7:26 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

nope

why would I argue the Delmas pick, I graduated from WMU. He’s a stud. But you and I both know the day would come and we would need a DL more than a TE and now that day has come…

Don't forget about Hunter

Jason Hunter is statistically our best d-lineman, if I’m not mistaken. Especially last week, and he’s healthy. Keep an eye on him man, I think we may have found a decent pass rusher.

Any news on Stanton?

I realize he won’t play, but is the knee healthy and is he practicing again?

I know this is shameless

But if anyone’s up and bored and if you have cable, check out the NRL grand final on Spike TV. It’s like the Australian SuperBowl.

They showed Smith....

warming-up on the field in Chicago this morning. Looks like he’s gonna go. I’m going to keep the faith and keep him in my starting line-up in my “other” fantasy league. I think that he will rise up above the pain and absolutely shred the Bears for a buck-fifty and 2 TD. Might be a stupid FF move, but that’s my way of showing my faith in the Lions!

Do you guys think Smith will play?

Hit em with your groin!

by KingRichard on Oct 4, 2009 11:49 AM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Yeppers

He’s a freakin’ stud and if he’s anywhere close to okay, he’ll be out there giving 110%.

But low seniority does that to you. Better than working 3rd or 2nd shift though.
