Rant on!

One fo my biggest pet peevs involves the NFL and the BIG TEN or any other money grubbing league that pisses on their fans.   What is up with blacking out the fans?  What is up with pinching the last dollar out of us that love the game?

Yes, the MSU/UM game can only be seen on the Big Ten Network.  A network that everyone has to pay for... or don't watch the game.  What a joke!   As if advertising dollars aren't enough to feed this money making scheme, some schmuck had the idea of sucking more revenue out of a game where the players arent even paid.  A game between Universities that are heavily funded by our tax payer dollars.  I am so pissed right now that I can't even get my thoughts in order....

And don't even get me started on the NFL Network... a channel that claims to be 'for the fan'... but only the fans that can afford it.

What a joke.

My rant ends here as I feel the need to drop some 'f' bombs!

I had direct tv when i lived in gaylord

I hated it! any time it would rain….not torrential downpour but a regular rain, my signal would get all f’ed up and I could practically see the rain on my tv. 9i had techs out on numorous occasions) I remember watching the mich/msu game (2006) and we had to leave and go to la seniorita to watch the end of it…. no thanks Ill keep keep charter (I do get big ten with charter, not nfl network)

Yeah, I feel your pain on the rain thing with DirecTV

But since I upgraded to my new HD dish, the reception has been very good. Actually, I have to say that I am in love with DirecTV right now. They called me two weeks ago and said because I was a longtime subscriber that they were upgrading me for free for the next 5 months. So I now have the premium package… with all movies channels… and FREE NFL Sunday Ticket!!! The five months takes me through the entire season. How awesome. And my bill is actually $5 a month less because they waived my HD fee. Lovin’ it!

I was feelin' that until I got HD

My old receivers and dish were pure crap. It was worth the extra money in the long run to upgrade.

It depends on your package (mine's HUGE)

But I have Dish, and I get them all. If I didnt work Sundays I would get the RedZone. I heard it’s sweet.

Over priced and bad signals

Made me switch to Dish, other than MLB network, and The Ticket I get much more TV for a better price.

I went over to my friend's dad's house in Muskegon

Saw the game on the Big Ten Network on his enormous widescreen flat screen TV. Great game.

What? He can’t block a dead gopher? Humph, details.
