I’m really excited and hoping that Stafford and CJ play. I really hope they slaughter the Rams. Last time the game was blacked out, I got to watch it on Fox any how. I hope that’s the case, this week as well.

ease up
I think you’re being a little hard on Nostradamas, is it because the lions lost to the worst team in the NFL

Underground word
Is there any underground word up there in Michigan regarding CJ playing or not. I have him for fantasy and and really need to know what the word on the streets is up there. We dont hear much about the LIONS down here in NC.
just watch the fox pre game show is all i can say
but as u can see he is listed as Questionable witch is 50-50 but we will see
Just Remember matt... what would Daunte do??
Can't wait for tomorrow's game
I was reading the last thread and people were talking about 2007 6-2 start. Is it me or does that seem like 25 years ago, not 2 years ago?? LOL
I am just hoping for a simple W, progess on both sides of the ball and something to build on.
See you guys tomorrow!!

It's still a long injury report
Thankfully, there’s more probables than Questionables.
2009 = The start of the Lions Golden Age (We hope).
Hopefully...
With a healthier d-line and their poor/injured o-line, we can get some pressure and prevent the play from developing into a possible long-yardage gain. We have been susceptible to those long plays and maybe this game we can stop them.

Player News (last updated: November 1, 2009)
News: Johnson (knee) will not play Sunday against St. Louis, NFL Network reports.
Spin: Coach Jim Schwartz was confident in Johnson’s chances, but Johnson himself seemed less than certain after Friday’s practice. He apparently wasn’t where he needed to be in warm-ups, so he’ll sit on Sunday.
and above that…
ESPN reports that coach Jim Schwartz expects Johnson (knee) to start Sunday against the Rams. However, Johnson seems less optimistic about his own chances, MLive.com reports. “Just trying not to overwork it. I don’t want to mess it up more than it is,” Johnson said after Friday’s practice. “It’s a game-time decision.” (Oct 30)
So, the Nov 1 says out!
http://cmufootball.blogspot.com/
Honestly, if he is hurt, i want him to sit..
Keep him for the year, we dont NEED him to beat the rams

I think CJ will sit today, and even though it bones my FFBL….its the right choice

As long as the Lions get a W
I don’t care how jsut get a Win – and a comfortable Win would be great but I think it will be close – Rams will give it their all today

I think regardless of the outcome
SJAX will get at least 150 yards from scrimage…he is a monter

He will not get over 75 yds from scrimmage...
He is not a monster. I’m more worried about our DBs making Bulger look good…
Bref...
I will mail you a Lions hat if Johnson gets less than 75 yards from scrimage…win or lose the game!
You owe me nothing if he gets over 75..
Its nearly a lock that I don’t send you shit HAHA

Jackson...not Johnson
If the lions hold him under 75 yards total I will mail you a brand new lions hat

by CapitolLions on Nov 1, 2009 12:09 PM EST up reply actions
That will never happen
SJax will DEF have >75 yards from scrimmage.
I’ll main you a hat if we keep SJax below 75 yards from scrimmage (barring injury of course)

Calvin was in then out then in then out again before the last game
Wait until the official inactive list is posted, and then wait a little bit longer to make sure it’s accurate (NFL.com was wrong two weeks ago).

97.1 is at the game, they said Cal is inactive

He is great!
Said, "I dont care about what is a “must win” for the Rams, we are 1-5, this is a must win for us. I care less about the rams"

rather we have him healthy against a team that I think we would need him…we can beat the Rams without Calvin I think

As long as someone can go deep
we need that deep threat – maybe Bryant Johnson can do that part today and keep everyone else underneath.

Lions said the Rams’ kicker (Josh Brown) was out, which made no sense and wasn’t true. Yeesh.
