Stafford Article
If you guys are as crazy a fan as I am, you've already searched the internet 1,000 times over looking for any and all articles about yesterday's win over Cleveland. Of all I've found, this one is probably the best. Not because of the way it was written, but because of the way it's set up. The quotes used and the storytelling will give you chills (the good kind). I normally don't like Peter King, but I think the opening topic from his Monday Morning Quarterback article is the best I've seen so far. Check out the link below. A lot of good quotes.

Impressed with Staff's knowledge of the game
When he heard a TO had been called he immediately knew he was eligible to re-enter the game. Very heads up on Staff’s part.

Yup
I love how he bulldozed like three doctors to get out there, too. He didn’t care if his left arm fell off, he was going in. AND he told Linehan to call a pass play. He wasn’t about to let his drive stall on the 1-yard line with a run up the gut. He wanted full responsibility. HE showed some moxie.
+1000000
He has guts thats for sure. You could read his lips coming off the field saying “Its out” which I assume means his shoulder.
Excellent football IQ, which impressed Mayhew and Schwartz in the combine. Showed it yesterday!!

Agreed
If you watch the video on POD’s front page with Peter King, it’s funny how Dan Patrick asks why Mangini didn’t know calling a timeout would allow Stafford back in the game. But that a 21-year-old rookie knew he could come back in after the timeout. His knowledge of the game is way ahead of most rookies. Can’t wait to see this kid 3 years from now.

His knowledge is astounding
Very, very clever of him to know that about the Time-out.

Just saw the highlights...
…for the first time since watching the game. That really was on helluva finish!

That is freaking awesome
I guess Schwartz wasn’t lying when he said that his best play was simply getting on the field.

i wish there was a mic & camera that caught staff hearing the pa announce the cleveland t.o.
did you see how quick he got up when dom told him there was p.i.? would love to have seen his reaction to the t.o!!
i love staff recalling the aftermath of the hit…“i was quite content to just lay there for a while…then dom told me there was pi…and i said really!? i need to find out which ref that was, that there is a good man” picturing him jumping up w/ doms help (which was great to see might i add) with that going through his head…plus the agony…honestly spielburg would have a tougher time writing something better…forget the oher movie…this is a real football movie…solid college carreer, #1 draft pick…losing team…rebuilding team…putting your stamp on the game & earning instant respect league wide as a qb ~ priceless.
I know what you mean
CBS had a camera on him when he was laying down, but they cut to Eric Mangini before it was announced.
