Eric Mangini is a Tool
Glad I saw this one before I left for work - Eric Mangini accused the Lions of faking injuries in an attempt to defuse their vaunted no huddle offense:
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/11/23/mangini-hints-that-lions-may-have-faked-injuries/
As the article says, I think its more gesticulation on his part to try and deflect the inevitable blamestorm coming his way for playcalling a pass when we couldnt stop the clock, and calling the timeout that got Stafford back in the game.
Stay classy, Mangini.

You said it best
I plan on writing a column about this later, but Mangini can go suck one.

Hmmmmmmm
now my hatred for this fat grumpy bastard is immeasurably higher. I think your right Nate he knows he’s hated and won’t be around so try shifting the blame anywhere else but him.

Basically he is Belichck without the whole being a good coach thing. I can excuse Belichick of being a jerk because well, he wins and is a good coach. Mangini on the other hand, not only is he a jerk, but he does not win and is an awful coach

Mangini is a joke, complete joke. He will be done after this year anway, he isn't a NFL coach.
Don't question my fandominium.

he should sign jon kitna...that would solve all his teams troubles including his qb situation

kitna is on the cowboys roster remember...
but that would b something to see…two of the biggest loud mouth underachievers on the same team

Well fellas looks like we got ourselves an old fashioned Head Coach battle on our hands.
Remember this isn’t the first time Mangini has accused a team of such things. This is his defense mechanism for being a horrible coach. I say we let them meet on the 50 yard line and watch Schwartz beat that fat frumpy ass.
Schwartz’s responses to his accusations are classic.

If he said more or was harsher he would have just attracted uneeded attention
like Mangina does. He said just enough to say Mangina is an idiot and needs to shut his mouth and quit bitching without sounding like a complete ass like mangina does

Marinelli was like a lost puppy
He had no idea what he was doing, but you felt sorry for him.
Mangina is not only a bad coach, but a shit talker with nothing to back it up. He’s the kind of huy you LIKE to kick while they are down.

Nate
Just so you know, I posted a very similar post on one of the threads on the POD home page before I saw that you had already posted this…..sorry. I read the home page stuff before I read the fanposts and did not see any comments about this there. I agree that Mangina’s comments show what loser he is and that he has no class to speak of.

I find it hilarious that Mangina...
called the timeout that allowed Stafford to re-enter the game….

Hmm...
WOWWW…. How dumb do people get. You lost we won and in the end it doesn’t matter because the Browns and Lions have no hope.
