Stafford Mic'd UP

NFL: Stafford Mic'd Up
Things I appreciated about the video:

Stafford's passion through out the video is apparent, unlike a lot of the new-er players in the league, Stafford shows that he cares about the 52 other guys on that bench. He does not seem to have that, well these were the cards I was dealt so who-gives-a-fuck mentality. From the clip it does not seem like Stafford has any quit in him.

Also towards the end of the clip you see "the hit" and that unsettling sound as a result. Also the dialogue that goes on towards the end of the clip. "They called A time out, I can play right...get the fuck [off me]..I can throw"

Pretty inspirational stuff.

Even if we lose tomorrow, last week was a large emotional victory for all of us, lets just enjoy the game for what it is, tradition, and eat some motha-fuggin-TURKAY!

WOW! Thanks for putting this up IAG!

I usually don’t check out those videos because I find them kind of hokey. But this was different. It was hokey like hell but it was about our Lions and our QB.

That was a classic. Nice job NFL and brilliant stuff Staff.

Awesome stuff

I love NFL films and I love in-game audio. This one actually made me tear up a little.

Here’s another breakdown with in-game audio of the last 2 plays of the game:

Yeah, I got a little misty eyed too.

Great stuff. Makes a great script for a Super Bowl win.

That was so awesome

It was also good to see him and CJ embrace, especially after the dissention talk of a few weeks ago. I gotta go watch that another dozen times, bye.

Raiola - "I love you man!"

You can just tell the team is getting behind Stafford.

That was amazing, the heart…

Linehan said it best – “I don’t know what to tell you, and I know you’re hurt…. But great job.”

Nuff said.

by Nate D. on Nov 26, 2009 1:35 AM EST reply actions

That....was....incredible.

If Raiola and that O-line actually do love him, they need to protect his ass better. But I love the team chemistry that is clearly being built. There’s magic happening in that locker room, even if it doesn’t show production wise on the field sometimes. It’s coming.

It's a little humorous...

…at the end when everyone is congratulating Stafford and he’s in obvious pain, but they keep embracing him and slapping that shoulder. He doesn’t bitch much, he just grunts in pain when they do it. lol Tough kid.

what i loved about it was...

the savvy Matt has. Hit the o-linemen on the helmet. Letting the defense sees that he is doing it. So they would think it would be a running play. Then Matt gives them a play-action. Heller wide open.

Brilliant! (reaches for beer)

I liked the smarts on that and on recognizing his eligibility at the end after Mangenius’ timout. He’s no Peyton Manning yet, but he’s trying. He recognizes the importance of misdirection and mind games. Like Yogi Berra said,

“Baseball is 90% mental — the other half is physical.”

What? He can’t block a dead gopher? Humph, details.

by GRLion on Nov 27, 2009 5:09 AM EST up reply actions

Brains. Cannon, Guts, and Love

This kid is amazing. He clearly loves the game and will do whatever it takes to play and win. Those are admirable qualities in any player, but to have that desire and love packaged into a guy with this much talent and knowledge of the game – I can’t wait to see where this leads us.

by Lions-fan-SLC on Nov 26, 2009 11:11 AM EST reply actions

Did anyone else notice...

…how he was tapping the o-lineman on the head so the D would think a run was coming? Set up the play-action pass for the TD perfectly. Thought that was pretty cool.

Can we keep this posted here permanently?

I’ve started using this clip like a drug.

Had a bad day? Watch Stafford Mic’ed Up…. Then I feel better.

Got a runny nose? Watch the Clip…. Nose dries up.

Drank too much last night? You got it, Clip…. Hangover gone.

The Lions lost on Thanksgiving? No Problem, watch that Clip 7or8 times…. Who Cares.

I NEED more of these… Go Lions!!!!

The Futures Here

This shows what the Lions got when they went out and drafted their hopeful franchise quarterback. He may have been banged up a bit at the beginning of the season but we are starting to see the heart and pride he has for not only his teammates but for the franchise he plays for.

Yes we can keep this clip up here forever.......all you have to do is.......

………click “rec” under the post to recommend it. Everybody please do that, so us Stafford crackheads can get our daily fix.
