Its the idiot from Alaska

So I made the trip to Seattle from Anchorage, Alaska to see the Lions play on Sunday. I have a feeling that the game will be on in Michigan with a Direct TV feed. Most sport bars have the game on less than 15 minutes from the house. Look for me, I will be wearing the Barry Sanders jersey, a helmet,a mouth piece, and I look like Billy Bob Thorton from Sling Blade. Love ya.

Reply to Sling Blade Thorton

Dood, I will totally be looking out for you! If I see you, I will tell everyone I know you from a Lions blog. Ahahaa.

Fantasy Question

Do I start Kevin Smith or Johnathan Stewart this week? Smith is questionable with the shoulder so Morris is going to get a lot of runs this week. Stewart is questionable but they are playing the Saints and their run defense is not that good. Just a little help please.

I think Saints' run defense is ranked 7th now.

The Saints have been doing a really good job with the run recently. I’d go with Smith. ;)

New Orleans is ranked 11th currently in rushing defense.....

and Seattle is 10th against the run. If you want my opinion JKamm, I would still go with Kevin Smith…..unless you can get something more solid on the waiver wire. If both Smith and Stewart are questionable, and you have to go with one over the other with no other choice, you have to take the guy that is the starter I would think. Stewart plays second fiddle to DeAngelo Williams….

Plus if Drew Brees throws 6 TD's Carolina won't be running much in the 2nd half

(Not that we’d know anything about that, of course)

What? He can’t block a dead gopher? Humph, details.

If you are a naturally unlucky person

Then please put Kevin Smith on the bench so he has a monster game.

I have put Kevin Smith and Calvin Johnson on my bench and picked up the Seattle defense this week. My fantasy football unluckiness may not be able to single-handedly assure a Lions victory but every little bit helps…

start smith

stewart shares carries with d. willaims anyways, and since the panthers dont have much of a passing game, the saints will load up against the run.

seattle has a very talented DEF, but they have some injuries, so i can see k smith having a solid game against them

Lol

That’s exactly why I’m starting Ricky Williams in his place.

Ok how bout this one K.SMith or Laurence Maroney in a PPR league?

Im in 1st place tied with my matchup this week. Maroney plays at home vs a MIA def thats hurting. what do I do?

maroney

pats might go into fu mode and throw the ball all day, but if they dont, then maroney should get some carries against a sub-par run def (considering injuries), plus the chances of him playing are 100%, so i would go with him

I actually have K. Smith and Maroney in a FFBL too

And I am starting Maroney…but as always…when I sit Smith, I root for it to be the wrong choice!

I like the bittersweet feeling

I get when I sit him and he actually does good. Kind of like when my opponet has Calvin Johnson.

Does Kevin Smith play? I think its on the hands of the coach and Aaron Curry scares me

What if SMith does play and takes a hit from the rookie on the shoulder? Smith scares me.
