The Good and the Bad
The Good = Our injuries seem to be shoring up nicely; one of their veteran deep threats (Clayton) is out, Ed Reed is doubtful, Terrell Suggs has been hurting bad, and their kicker is in pain when he kicks. Could be that he misses one or two key FGs because of it….maybe…just maybe.
The Bad = Baltimore is stronger on paper, Staff is out, and it’s in Baltimore. Chances are Ray Rice and Willis McGahee will be a major thorn in our side the whole game, most likely.
Ravens will win most likely, but I just hope to see a good, strong outing by the Lions. And then, if they could pull off a crazy upset, I’d be ecstatic, of course. We need strong games from our defense…smart plays from CPepp….and a big game from Kevin Smith.
GO LIONS! RESTORE THE ROAR!
As a Raven fan
I see no reason to play either Ed Reed or Terrell Suggs in this game. No disrespect, but I’d let them get healthier for the stretch run. Play them sparingly against the Bears then let them go against the Steelers for what will probably be our final shot at the playoffs.
If the Ravens cannot win at home vs. Detroit without those two, then we don’t deserve to play post season football. Of course, some would already say that here in Baltimore and around the league.
