Congrats to the POD Fantasy Football Champions
The fantasy football season is officially over for the four Pride of Detroit leagues, so I just want to say congratulations to the champions and thanks to everybody who played. It was a lot of fun watching each of the leagues play out, especially since I nearly took home two championships. In the end Adrian Peterson, despite his untimely fumbles, kept me from winning two titles, but I'm more than happy to be the champion of the Main League.
Below is a look at how each of the four championship games played out.
Main League
Sean Yuille defeated Nate D. 111.02-86.28 (Nate D. narrowly won our division, but I actually ended up going 3-0 against him this season)
Overflow League 1
thePROD1GY defeated Sean Yuille 93.74-86.42 (damn you, Adrian Peterson)
Overflow League 2
kevough defeated Pistons21 123.58-77.94 (this was another title game featuring teams from the same division, and kevough went 2-1 against Pistons21 this season)
Overflow League 3
homerhft defeated flypay 111.46-84.06 (congrats to homerhft for winning the league that featured no teams with less than 4 wins)
I am not sure how many leagues there will be for fantasy football next year or what the format will be in terms of having possible keeper leagues or moving people up or down a league based on performance (similar to the setup for soccer in England), but look for information on that next summer. Until then, again, congrats to the winners and thanks to everybody who played fantasy football with Pride of Detroit this year.

Oh, you just HAD to rub it in with that extra little factoid...
:P
Good job Sean – you are the Patriots to my Colts
I like the idea of the keeper league
Congrats on the victory Sean and the others.

HEY, How about some consulation glory???
After being whooped on to the tune of almost 1370pts this season(no team even scored over 1300pts), I was 3-0 in the post season, which would technically put me in 7th…lol.
I don’t care for fleeflicker wiping out the league so fast…. I couldn’t log in this afternoon.
Mine from last year and this year are all still there, so it looks like a problem on your end

Sean, Nate, and I all scored 1300+
But I’m not sure if that included the playoff points. Anyway, I ended up in 3rd place after getting rammed in the playoffs (after having a first round bye and the best record in the regular season). I did have a great deal of fun however, and I look forward to playing again next year, regardless of the format.
I love the Futball....
…..idea of relegation and derelegation

I started out really strong in the main league, as usual
but then took a dump the last few weeks. Injuries and whatnot. I’ll get you next year, Sean! Congrats on the win!

Ok, maybe not strong
4-2 before everything went to hell. I can handle 8th out of 12, though.

Sorry overflow league 1
I made a stupid trade with by giving Romo to the Prod. Fun league even though it seemed I always played the team in the top for the weeks.
