- Matthew Stafford had surgery on his injured knee yesterday, and it was characterized as a "success."
- Jim Schwartz hasn't decided on a starting quarterback for the season finale just yet.
- Larry Foote had started 94 straight games before missing the 49ers game due to an injury.
- Former Lion Rick Kane passed away earlier this week.
- Unsurprisingly, no Lions players made the Pro Bowl.
- The Bears suffered quite a few injuries in their Monday night game against the Vikings.
- There's a chance that Sunday could be the last time Lovie Smith coaches a game as head coach of the Bears.

never disliked the guy even though he coached against us. hopefully they promote rod marinelli.
