Lions Sell Out Bears Game
Press release from the Lions:
The Detroit Lions have reached a sellout for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears. By reaching a sellout by today's 1 p.m. deadline, Sunday's game will air live in the local television markets (Metro Detroit, Lansing, Saginaw/Flint and Toledo markets), including WJBK-TV FOX 2.
Fans still have the opportunity to purchase tickets to Sunday's game vs. Chicago. A few hundred tickets returned by the Bears from their ticket allotment are now available to the general public.
This season the Lions ended up selling out 4 of their 8 games. That's not bad all things considered. Hopefully starting 2010 with a sellout is a sign of things to come.

Tix were offered half off to local companies.
I got lower bowl for $40 each. I’ll pre-order my #93 Suh at the team shop while I’m there.

Yes
At the time the Lions said it was for one year…..#93 would not be used for the 2009 season.
Suh would be a good player to honor Corey Smith’s old number. Gone but not forgotten.
What? He can’t block a dead gopher? Humph, details.
I hope we get Suh
but it likely won’t happen. Get a Berry or Okung jersey instead.

I am really looking forward to the Lions' final season game. Hope we win it!
We may have a chance b/c their team played Monday and has to travel and has more injuries from that game. Both of our backup qbs have had some playing time now so the team’s used to both of them, so let’s see what they’ve got! The defense played pretty well last time; I was proud of them on the whole! It might come all together on the field Sunday, for a third win! Anyway, I’ll be glued to the set, so give ’em h e double toothpicks, fellas, and good luck to our trusty qbs and talented offensive line!
Great pix!
