Jackson, who recently signed as a free agent and probably didn't realize the Lions wanted to keep their new uniforms and logo a secret for awhile, made a comment about how he liked the Lions' new look, including a remark that he liked the "new colors.'' This morning, I contacted a Lions official who wouldn't say a word about the possibility of new uniforms or logo but it appears unlikely the team would change its colors.

I really hope they don’t turn our logo/uniforms into some cartoonish, kiddy look to boost fan sales and merchandise. Every logo in the Arena Football League does this. If anything, they need to go back to the throwback lion logo, the one where its tail comes up behind its head.

Let’s face it. They can’t move merchandise for a goose egg team. They have to do something else like come up with a new logo and color so everyone fan will have to update their game-time wardrobe. It’s another sucker play for us poor suckers. The Lions will hit their fans even when they are down. I’ve just about had it. :-(
Don’t forget WCF wants your money more than he wants to have a winning team.
