I am kind of indifferent...

on trading for Cutler, and would like to build the defense instead. However, I don’t want him going to the Vikings or the Bears. The vikings have an obvious need there, and Cutler has shown some interest in the Bears. I don’t want to pay too much for him, but it might be worth it to keep him from going to a division rival.

If the Lions are gonna draft Stafford...

They might as well trade the #1 for Cutler. I really think that the Broncos would attempt to stick it to him by trading him to the 0-16 team. Good for us.

Whether it be this year, next year, or 50 years from now. The Detroit Lions will eventually win a Super Bowl............I f'n hope.

Cutler

I personally would rather have Stafford. I dont want us to get a QB that is throws a whining fit about being in trade talks. The lions dont need that right now. If Stafford had an outstanding workout then I think we should bring him in. He can be our future QB. The best thing is that he actually wants to make the lions a winner. He wants to come to Detroit. Cutler would probably hold out on us too.

Disagree

First off, I don’t blame Cutler at all. He is supposed to be their franchise QB, then this new coach comes in and first thing he does is try to get rid of him….c’mon, man.

Stafford is not going to be a stellar NFL QB, which is what you need to be sure of if you draft that position first.

In just a couple more hours

it will be April Fool’s Day in Denver. Time will tell who are the bigger fools: Josh McDaniels and Pat Bowlen, Jay Cutler and “Bus” Cook, or the team that gives up too much in a trade for Cutler. If Mayhew pulls this off, I hope the Lions aren’t looked at as the fools a couple years from now.

cutlers agent also represents calvin johnson could be a good sign i know i was advocating for a LT first in the draft but this changes everything get cutler for the #1 nothing more if we can and draft defense the rest of the way our OL needs help and we picked up a couple mid-level guys so if he came here the best way we could help him and ourselves succeed is draft defense and keep him in the game not only by keeping the opposing teams score down but by keeping him and the offense on the field, and go after our killer LT next year just my opinion
