My first 5 picks of the draft
Alright I've seen enough of the FA to know how the draft will start to pan out. I've read alot of mock drafts in here and like the different opions from everybody. But I've commented on enough to feel it's time to sh#t or get off the pot, so here are mine.
1st pick Aaron Curry: Will start from week one and cause havic all ove the field, the safest pick in the draft and thats what we need.
2nd 1st round pick Ron Brace: This is a reach but I think he'll be gone later in the 2nd round so we have no choice. Even though we got Jackson in FA we need to get bigger on our D-line and Jackson can't play every down, the lions HC said he wants to rotate his D-line and brace would be great playing 15-20 downs before taking over full time in his second season. If the HC is serios about stuffing the line this guy would solve the problem year 1...
3rd round Victor Harris: He would help the punt and return game while coming off the bench to play nickel back untill he was ready to take a starting role. Could be a starter by year 2 while helping from day 1.
2nd 3rd round pick Kriag Urbik: We need O-line help and he could start sooner than later. He can protect the QB as well as make lanes for smith to run.
TRADE: Lions trade 5th and 6th round pick to move back into 4th round lions pick Scott Mckillop: We need a starting MLB and he fills the need, I've heard so many post saying the lions HC takes mid round picks and turns them into great linebackers, while here you go. He did not wow at the combine but is a solid player with the size and nose for the ball, reminds me of Boyd. if he can stay healthy.
I changed my picks alittle since FA and the likelyness of filling need spots, well let me know...

I am still banking on Maueluga being available at 20. That would be nice.
That being said, I think an LT at 20 may fit. That is about where we got Gosder and that way we wouldn’t break the bank on the o-line. Backus moves to guard and we are set. Some are predicting Oher to move back (20 seems a bit dreamy though). What about Andre Smith? Do you even look at him?
I say Curry at #1 as well. He seems like a stud. Do you play him at MLB? Then you could move either Dizon or Lenon over to strong?
So many options, not enough talent.
