Nice!
These are both great signings! I am becoming more and more impressed with Mayhew with each signing.
I am even warming to the idea of drafting Stafford. I am not sold yet, but I really get the feeling they are doing their due dilligence. I am encouraged.

Just need a Slot WR and we are set.
Hopefully they pick up a guy in the sixth round to fill that spot. Maybe Wes Welker’s younger brother?

I Agree
A slot reciever with blazing speed that can help the return game, I think speed is a must on kick-off returns with the new wedge rule in place this year. The front office is doing a good job of creating competition for various spots on the team, the coaches will have a tuff time making the cuts this year and that’s a good thing.

Great signings
Don’t know much about the FB, Smith, but he seems to have some nice stats, might allow Felton to become a guy who just rushes in short yardage situations.
2009 = The start of the Lions Golden Age (We hope).

Smith's a decent veteran...
been around the league for a while. Hopefully, Felton is still being looked at for starter, but Smith should add good depth.

These are great signings
Hopefully one of these wide receivers will turn out to be hidden gems that’ll flourish seeing as it’s necessary to put 3 guys on Calvin to shut him down. Kind of like Furrey was.

Is it possible...
for them to re-sign furrey? I haven’t really looked into, but can’t find that he went elsewhere. He was a good possession receiver, so is bringing him back a possibility?

I'd rather sign Mcdonald for the slot rather that Furrey

EXCELLENT
I am really happy with the Curry signing. For him to stand out at all in Oakland is promising enough. We have a stronger passing game than they do, so I expect he will do well in D-Town.
GO LIONS! RESTORE THE ROAR!

Better WR corp
These WR’s we’ve signed may not be up to the talent of a Roy Williams but after last year Furrey, McDonald, and Williams just dropped the ball so much it was sickening. You guys know what i mean, these guys with Franklin, Johnson, and Curry may not be best up there in talent but if they can catch the ball there in. Not to mention Curry could play wildcat if ever needed.

We got
Bryant Johnson too earlier in the off-season. Looks like our WR corps is full.
