Hey guys, there is alot of talk going on right now about what the Lions should and shouldn't do. In my opinion it is very difficult to say what the Lions should do, given the fact that we can either stand tall and make our picks or we could try to trade for Cutler. However, we do not know what the Lions would have to give up for Cutler, because we do not know what Washington, the Jets, or the Bucs are willing to give up for him. I would be happy giving up 1 and 20 for Cutler and 12, but if Denver wants to try to be greedy, then maybe we should back out and do what we were going to do if no trade were available. I said this before, and I am saying it again because Jay Cutler is not worth picks 1 and 20 no matter what way you look at it. That would give Denver picks 1, 12, and 20…..that is not a fair trade for Detroit or anyone else in the league. This is a game. It’s like trying to buy a car from a private seller. They put a price tag on the car that is above what they need to get out of it. Someone comes along and makes a cash offer that is lower than what the price tag says, but not lower than what the seller actually needs to get out of the car. The seller takes the “deal” and walks out with what they wanted in the first place. Denver is trying to oversell Cutler at this point. Nobody will give up 2 first round picks for him, and if they do, they should have IDIOT branded across their foreheads. I would like to hear what you all think would be the best case scenario, but I would like you to think realistically as well. Please don't come up with ridiculous ideas for the best case scenario. I have created a poll that gives some of my ideas, as well as some ideas that I have read here elsewhere. Realistically, what would be the best moves for the Lions to win now??
