I will not complain about Stafford , i know Detroit needs a "franchise" QB and Stafford was the only guy in this draft i wouldve wanted at QB..so i promise not to talk bad about him,

Lets use the rest of this draft on defense , 6 picks left ( use 5 of them on def) maybe grab a TE ( pick 82 ) ...

Stafford should be a good QB for a while,he has a strong arm ,as strong as a ANY QB ( equals Cutler) ..The NFC north has some decent QBs now , Stafford,Culter,Rogers,Sage ( i think he will will out in Minn) ...

There are a few positions in which have to be addressed. If Rays there at 20, you HAVE to take him, I mean its our greatest need and in the first 2 picks we get 2 QB’s really on both sides. I’ve heard a lot of talk about the 33rd pick and im not opposed to it cause theres a couple different ways we could go. We are going to trade i believe one of our top 3 picks and most likely the 33rd since its really a first round pick. I like Delmas, Robinson or Mack are good though i see Unger and or Mack to be gone. so i believe its either Delmas or DL/OL for the 33rd pick. Though I post everywhere I go that we need a CB badly if only to put young blood in the back

If Rey is there at 20 it will be a no brainer pick, supposedly Schwartz is in love with the kid as much as he was with Stafford lets see how this goes.

I agree. If Rey is there scoop him up. It is a good way to start building by picking the QB of offense and defense in the first round. I would take Delmas at 33 and keep Henry at CB. I think that we should try for Herman Johnson in the third round if he is still there. I think that if the lions dont draft an LT then Euphraim Salaam will sign with us. Having Salaam at LT moving Backus to LG Raiola in the center Johnson at LG and Cherilus at RT would get us by until we can get our LT of the future. Maybe next year. I think that our d-line will be solid too. there is no question that we need to build our lines up in 2010.

1st of all

Maualuga is going to be gone. Laurinits will probably be the pick, and really to me, #20 is going to tell me what kind of a team we’ll have, based on whether they go OL or MLB…

With that said, we’re going to have a good ‘ol fashioned QB shootout in the NFC North with all the young stud QB’s there suddenly are… should be interesting… I would imagine Cutler is going to have some sort of Rivers syndrome with Matty.

Could give us something to watch other than sub .500 football ;)

Drafting a quarterback first overall is like watching your mother-in-law drive over the edge of a cliff in your new Mercedes.
