I have to watch ESPN coverage
It sucks, I want NFL Network

He doesn't seem to upset about the reaction

yeah i thought i heard that...
Deion can suck one..
I don't know if anyone saw earlier...
but he called Gil Brandt, “the late…the great Gil Brandt.” Umm, Deion, the man is standing right there. Alive.
Crabtree kind of looked like that too with the pinky ring

He says all the right things...
At least we’ve got a smart guy that says intelligent things. Instead of… “well, we just gotta do what we gotta do to get it done… I’m just gonna play my game, you know”
He’s a smart kid. Go Staff!
Schwartz just closed on his house today they said
Maybe Stafford can take care of the down payment.
Pride of Detroit, SB Nation's Lions Blog
im more mad at Stafford's response..
When he said you have no running game, how do you plan to deal with that, he said, well it’s going to be tough, but calvin is a hell of a receiver… did our new QB just slight our RB?
I really don't think he was slighting anyone...
Deion said a crappy remark – I think Staff was just trying to get out of there and was giving one of those sheepish answers
Jason Smith with a huge smile
Then again, he’s looked like that all day.

Thanks for spoiling the pick NFLN
His reaction sort of gave it away.

Is Smith crying as much as Lions fans

a very rich man.

Media
What gets me is all the media people talking about how risky the Stafford pick is and how hard it’s going to be for him without a better O-line or running game. As if the Detroit fandom hadn’t realized all that long time ago while they kept saying that Stafford was the only way they can go…
At least Gruden has been consistent in saying Stafford, Stafford, Stafford.
I just don't see why everyone is hatin on our running game...
Kevin Smith had almost 1000 yards on the worst offense in the league
people are ignorant
Honestly, I’m glad our running game is under the radar.
Agreed

seriously
does anyone who is watching ESPN know what that graphic means? When they show the player page, at the bottom they have these little circles that alternate being filled in or empty along with what looks like hash marks. Any clue?
I have the Chiefs taking Curry
Just don’t understand why everyone is so high on Tyson Jackson in the last few days.
Pride of Detroit, SB Nation's Lions Blog
It's because Kiper put him in his mock
When Kiper says something, every other mocker shapes his mock to look like Kiper’s.
I don't think you could justify taking Jackson over Curry
2009 = The start of the Lions Golden Age (We hope).
by Hyperion Ecta on Apr 25, 2009 4:21 PM EDT up reply actions
no way... not sure why Jackson's...
shot up the last few days. Last I checked, he was a mid-rounder at best.
Tyson Jackson
Is a very good prospect mainly because he’s about the only DE prospect that has no question about his position in the NFL. Most DEs (Maybin, Ayers, Orakpo) everyone wonders will they be DE or OLB. Tyson is a big guy so there’s no way he projects to OLB
as a psychologist, I can tell you it’s entirely to do with groupthink. people buy into the group mentality, and the media is very susceptible.
LB he just said then

I don't like the pick
How could you pass on Curry…I’ve got nothing against Jackson but he isn’t the 3rd best player in the draft
2009 = The start of the Lions Golden Age (We hope).
Good try by him to accept less money for the top pick
He still would have made a lot more than he will now.

Tyson Jackson.. I mean seriously?
He wasn’t rate in the top 15 until the last couple weeks was he?

not sure that's true
the key for reyma is San Diego. ANd they dont care if curry falls.
if i was seattle
I’d take curry in a heartbeat. Especially cause they just traded peterson.
Wow
Just got a text from my friend in my hometown that the power is out. That would suck so much.

His best position in a 3-4 is inside.
and the ILB in a 3-4 is the least important part of the front 7. Raji would be a more valuable pick.
i would think no crabtree
now that they have tj
I'm interested to see if the Sanchez talk was just Hype
To try and get an early trade.. or if people are really that interested
I am gonna be upset if Curry ends up sitting like brady quinn
and then goes #19 right before we pick haha
If he gets to the teens I would strongly consider trading up
Pride of Detroit, SB Nation's Lions Blog
Hasselback
Still has plenty in the tank, think about it. We were considering passing QB this year for Curry and our QB is Daunte Culpepper!

How funny would it be if the Draft took a page from the Oscars
and every prospect read off a long list of thank-you’s at the podium
It depends
On the position of the pick (I can’t stand paying any more top 10 money) and how much we need to trade for it
How does Julian Peterson feel . . .
Moved because Seattle has too much invested in LBs, then they pick Curry.
by TennesseeYooper on Apr 25, 2009 4:34 PM EDT reply actions
Well, trading Julian Peterson
wound up giving them a spot for a better, younger player. Not bad at all for them.
and trade Edwards
