Larry Foote WAS NOT released...

Im not sure where this came from ..the Steelers MIGHT release him after mini camp, but an injury to L.Timmons makes his release VERY doubtful..

I would love Foote in a Lions uniform.. i know hes not a MLB , but the Lions would use him there. go blue

we need  a LT   MLB   and we  could  be  6-10   7-9     any thoughts...not bad after 0-16       i wouldnt mind    one more  bad yr  thou   , get  a top 3  pick  and  really build...

He played an ILB in a 3-4 defense

he’s 6-1 240. A little small, but he’d be better than any MLB we have now. He’s 28 years old, old enough to be a vet but not old enough to start sliding. He could be with us for 4 years if he still has the juice in him. I know Seau was playing until he was 39 at a high level.

I’m definitely on the “sign Larry Foote bandwagon”

Everyone says

Foote was released because thats what it says on NFL.coms transaction list. It says he was released today.

That was an outstanding find with the Pittsburgh Post Gazette find. I love the fact that it says that Larry Foote stated that he wants to play for his hometown Detroit Lions and that he told both of Detroit’s newspapers that today. I surely hope that the Lions front office is paying attention, and that they do everything they can to get Larry Foote into our camp.

Detriot news

If you guys go to the news webpage or have todays paper it says . According to the pittsburgh post gazette the steelers ARE expected to cut Foote after the teams minicamp THIS weekend if they can’t swing a trade!!!! It also says that Foote has been asking for it all offseason So maybe thats why we skipped on a MLB in the draft makes sense doesn’t it for all the folks that were having fits about not getting 1 huh.. So lets wait til Monday to see what happens ok..
