So the Lions have been better this offseason about putting up smokescreens so people don't see what they are really doing. In the past two-three weeks, however, they have been all but publically masturbating to Stafford.

My theory is that their Stafford love was based on them trying to do a trade for Cutler that involved sending Stafford to Denver. Now that Denver has gone the more conventional route, I predict we will hear a lot less about how much the Lions love Stafford and more about the "build the team from the draft" and "best player available" stuff to obscure which person they draft #1.

Still a chance we take an LT #1 and hope for Sanchez to drop to 20!
