For three months I have kept tabs on many mock drafts, and the Lions projection changes but it doesn't have the impact on the other picks like one would think.
If the Lions take:
A. Smith, ST. Louis pick E. Monroe.-
J. Smith, STL E. Monroe
QB = E. Monroe
If the Lions don't take Stafford then it looks as if Sanchez is and has been rated higher by a majority.
I believe lion nation will be happy with anything but a flop considering our state. J.Smith has transitioned from T.E. and was a later addition top the top 5 prospects. Same people who say Stafford tends to put a lot of faith in his arm strength, and Stafford has been in a pro systerm so the transition will be eaiser. I see that he throws an int per in that system 13/10/10=33 in 39 games (51 td total). I have said it before but I like reading it so..TD's were spread out over the schedual while the INT's were in the SEC play. And their bowl game. Go safe, Monrore or Sanchez. Sanchez "safe" is a position hazard but his knock is experience. To those who only want a OT I warn. What if Culpepper gets hurt in week 2-3. The Lions are 0-2 or 0-3. I'm getting sick..Henson,..Stanton, dam you Mayhew.
